Industry News:
A teenager stabbed a rival and killed him after the man stubbed a cheap cigarette out on his friend's face, a court heard yesterday.

Wong Chun-sze, 16, became involved in the fight with Cheung Chi-sum, 22, outside a Tsing Yi Island store in the early hours of April 4 last year, it was claimed.

Cheung's friend, Lam Kwok-leung, 25, told the Court of First Instance the incident was sparked when one of Cheung's friends flicked his duty free cigarette outside the wholesale tobacco store. It landed near a man walking into the shop.

Mr Lam said the man stared at them before walking outside to make a phone call. He returned at around 2am with his friends - including the accused - and asked what had been thrown. Cheung then stubbed out his discount cigarette on the face of one of the men and the fight began.
